Gabrielle Aubrey is an emerging artist, based in Bathurst NSW. Gabrielle has a strong interest in youthful, original, Australian theatre and community led arts projects. Her practice is grounded in the belief theatre should be collaborative, imaginative and first and foremost about cultivating human connections. Gabrielle was the lead performer in the original theatre piece, Good Mourning, at the Old 505 Theatre. She is also a proud Events, Marketing & Social Media volunteer for Cancer Council NSW. In 2020, Gabrielle graduated with a Bachelor of Communication (Theatre Media) from Charles Sturt University. In her graduating year, she was awarded the Frank Ponton Memorial Prize for her academic performance. Gabrielle was also awarded the Blair Milan Touring Prize for her transmedia major work mini-series, Pirates!, which is currently in development for its Sydney theatre debut.
