Rebecca Youdell is a leading interdisciplinary artist whose practice is based on the actions and perceptions of the body as a central reference. The co-founder and co- director of the ecologically underpinned Bonemap (creative intermedia arts), Rebecca works on solo and collaborative projects and enterprises as a performer and creative producer. Based in Far North Queensland with an BFA (dance), MA(Visual performing arts) and Grad. Dip of Bus (Global), Rebecca is an improviser and strong advocate of contemporary expression. She is Creative Producer of Circa Cairns, Executive Administrator of NorthSite Contemporary Arts, dance trainer and educator with Miriki Performing Arts and services independent artists Grace Lillian Lee Productions and Zane Saunders. She is a fellowship recipient of the Australian Choreographic Centre, an Asialink residency recipient and has received awards during her practice which spans USA, UK, Asia, Scandinavia, and Australia.
